The Galt Police
Department is a modern, innovative full service law enforcement agency
with 32 sworn and 13 non-sworn personnel. The City of Galt is a
community of 23,000 residents located in Northern California, midway
between Sacramento and Stockton. Galt has a wonderful small town
character and family atmosphere, but is also a fast growing community
with many opportunities.
The Police
Department is proactive in career development and training, allowing
officers to work a number of special assignments such as Detectives,
K-9, Motors, etc. The department is housed in a brand new facility
built in 2003 utilizing high quality equipment and technology.
